In riparian areas with existing forest vegetation in the first 30 feet directly adjacent to the stream,the rule prohibits land disturbance, ❑ 10. new development and fertilizer use within the first 50 feet of land next to the water. In riparian areas with forest vegetation that is less than 30 feet wide,the rule prohibits land disturbance, new development and fertilizer use within the area that contains forest vegetation (but not the entire 50 foot riparian area).
