These corrective actions were completed on August 5, 2000. We have been engaged by the property owners to provide ongoing retention' pond maintenance for their.facility. Yow and Elmore: Please find attached a copy of the completed form entitled "Stormwater Compliance Inspection Report". The report summarizes the findings of a recent inspection of the project's stormwater controls conducted on May 23, 2000 to determine compliance with Stormwater Permit Number SW8 970240 issued on July 3, 1997. A summary of the findings and comments are noted under Section 6 of the report. Please inform this :Office in writing before June 30, 2000 of the specific actions that will be undertaken and the time frame required to correct the deficiencies. Failure to provide the requested information, when required, may iitiate enforcement action. The vegetated filter is no more than a connecting ditch. There is no flow spreader, no permanent grassed vegetation, and no flat bottom with the required width for non -erosive sheet flow of water from the pond. . b. The two fore bays are full of sediment. c. The are no trash guards over the weirs on the outlet structure. As a result trash and debris have partially blocked the outlet hole/weir. d. The designer's certification for this stormwater management system has not been received by this Office. Required Actions: a. Refer to the approved permitted plans dated March 17, 1997 for the design details of the vegetated filter and modify the site to correspond with the plans. b. The fore bays need to be cleaned out, back to the design depths. c. Place trash guards, screens, over the outlet weirs to prevent trash from entering downstream waters. d.
