High Density Wet Detention Pond Project Brunswick County Dear Ms. Hamilton ROY COOPER Governor MICHAEL S. REGAN Secretary TRACY DAVIS Du ector The Wilmington Regional Office received a complete, modified Stormwater Management Permit Application for Angler's Marine on January 25, 2017 with technical clarifications received on February 1, 2017. Staff review of the plans and specifications has determined that the project, as proposed, will comply with the Stormwater Regulations set forth in Title 15A NCAC 2H.1000 and Session Law 2008- 211. We are forwarding modified Permit No. SW8 040130 dated February 2, 2017, for the construction; operation and maintenance of the BMP's and built -upon areas associated with the subject project. This permit shall be effective from the date of issuance until May 7, 2018, and shall be subject to the conditions and limitations as specified therein. Please pay special attention to the conditions listed in this permit regarding the Operation and Maintenance, recordation of deed restrictions, certification of the BMP's, procedures for changing ownership, transferring the permit, and renewing the permit. Failure to establish an adequate system for operation and maintenance of the stormwater management system, to record deed restrictions, to certify the BMP's, to transfer the permit, or to renew the permit, will result in future compliance problems. Please note that a new engineers certification will need to be submitted once the construction for this project is complete. The following modifications are included and covered by this permit: Built -upon area (BUA) was added and revised for this project. The pond design was changed to handle the additional BUA, and the calculations, supplements, O&M Agreement, and plans were revised. If any parts, requirements, or limitations contained in this permit are unacceptable, you have the right to request an adjudicatorypearing by filing a written petition with the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH). The written petition must conform to Chapter 150B of the North Carolina General Statutes, and must be filed with the OAH within thirty (30) days of receipt of this permit. You should contact the CAM with all questions regarding the filing fee (if a filing fee is required) and/or the details of the filing process at 6714 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-6714, or via telephone at 919-431-3000, or visit their website at www.NCOA]i.com. Unless such demands are made this permit shall be final and binding. If you have any questions, or need additional information, please contact Steve Pusey in the Wilmington Regional Office, at (910) 796-7215. The new application reflects a total or 171,073 square feet of impervious surface with 31,310 square feet of buildings and 139,763 square feet of parking. This reflects 26,950 square feet of new building area and 22,935 square feet of parking or 49,885 square feet. 3. Hope you are well. I have some questions about your calculations on the subject pond, as follows: 1. It appears that you may not have enough volume at 32' elevation. My calculations show a volume of 14,752 cf at that elevation. I think you assumed a vertical height in calculating the storage volume; not sure how Hydrocad works on that. Please check and advise. 2. Please provide a breakdown of the new BUA. You only stated that it was a total of 49,885 sf. Please let me know when you can get back with me. Although the deed still says "Inc.", the current legal corporate name has "LLC", therefore we need to use that on the permit. So, please check with the owner and get her to change the permit application to reflect the LLC instead of Inc. and list her as a Member, as that is what's filed with the Secretary of State's office. Also, can you please advise her correct telephone number? There is a different number on the application than what's shown on the Secretary of State website.
