State Permit No. 12-06 has been modified, refined, and renewed several times since issuance. State Permit No. 12-06 is due to expire on March 19, 2027. The action proposed in your submittal consists of a request to install one (1) HarborHoist boat lift in slip #38 at Inlet Watch Yacht Club Marina. The HarborHoist lift would measure approximately 20' long by 13" wide (see request and picture dated received May 29, 2023). Upon reviewing the information provided, the Division of Coastal Management has determined that the proposed action is consistent with existing State rules and regulations and is in keeping with the original purpose and intent of the permit. This Letter of Refinement authorizes the modification of State Permit No. 12-06 as described in your email and attachments dated received May 29, 2023. Please note this refinement does not alleviate the need to obtain any other local, state or federal permits. If you have any questions concerning the above or if I can be of any other assistance, please advise. Allen Mitchell) is looking to purchase a previously -owned HarborHoist Hoist 15000 floating boat lift and would like to install it in the slip he leases at Inlet Watch Yacht Club, Wet Slip #38. A picture of the previously -owned HarborHoist floating boat lift is attached for your review, as well as a diagram of Inlet Watch Yacht Club detailing the location of Wet Slip #38. Additionally, a picture of Wet Slip #38 is attached for review, as well as the HarborHoist floating boat lift brochure, which cites the specifications of the 15000 model. Some further details that Mr. Mitchell provided about the HarborHoist boat lift are as follows: • Approximately 20' in length x 13' in width (brochure cites 22'-6" x 12'-5") • Lift will draft approximately 30" • Lift will sit parallel to the floating finger dock of Wet Slip #38 • Lift will be secured by tying dock lines to the cleats of the floating finger dock • Lift will plug directly into the shore power pedestal of Wet Slip #38 Can the above requests be completed on a new Letter of Refinement? If not, what would be the best way to proceed with requesting authorization? As a final note, our current CAMA Major Permit 12-06 has an expiration date of March 19, 2027.
