Ladies and Gentlemen,

There was a mistake in the subject permit application regarding Permit Site 2. The net impact at Site
2 should have been 38 feet instead of 28. Please modify your comments to reflect this mistake.
The 401 WQC has already been issued (NCDWR Project No. 2015-0225). Total Permanent Stream
Impacts for Channel Relocation and Culvert Extensions should be 79 feet instead of 69. I have
spoken with Lori Beckwith and this email will serve as the revised permit application. If you have
any questions, please advise. Sorry for the mistake.

For my comments, could I just add 10’ to permanent impacts – 79’ instead of 69’ for channel
relocations and culvert extensions – to be accurate? I’m assuming a corrected application is
coming, correct me if I’m wrong.

I intend to comment, but in the meantime I noticed an error or typo in the impact table. In the
cover letter table, Site 2 goes from a 40’ pipe to 78’, which totals 38’ of impact rather than 28’.
