Inspection Summary:
This inspection was conducted upon receipt of an application for an NCG08 stormwater permit. Mr. Jeffrey Davis is the site
contact.
This facility is a freight transfer facility. It receives freight in on a semitrailer. The freight is taken off the incoming trailer and
loaded onto the outgoing trailer. Propane powered forklifts are used to transfer the freight from one trailer to the next. All
maintenance activities for the forklifts are conducted inside the facility. The freight that is received at this facility can range
from chemicals to paper products and everything in between. All transfer activities take place inside the facility and freight is
not exposed to stormwater during any part of the transfer process. Floor drains are not present inside the facility. A
dumpster sits at the first loading dock on the east side of the property. This dumpster is covered and trash inside is not
exposed to stormwater. The site generally dips in the south direction. All water flows to the south and discharges into the
municipal storm sewer at the south point of the site.
