I concur with EcoScience Corporation's assessment that Stream #1
(located South of West Green Forest Drive) is subject to the Neuse River
Buffer Rule. A NCDWQ Stream Identification Form was completed at a
point approximately 100 feet south of the culvert beneath West Green
Forest Drive. The stream rated a score of 29.5 at that location, which
corresponds with an intermittent stream (at 30 points, the stream is
classified as a perennial stream). If any of the local landowners have
questions regarding this determination, they can call me at 733-9502.
