The above project qualifies for Nationwide Permit 14 authorization. This permit authorizes the placement of a
30" by 40' culvert under NCSR 1118 (Magnolia Road) in an unnamed tributary to South Fork Creek near Creswell in
Tyrell County, North Carolina. Riprap material will be placed adjacent to the upstream and downstream ends of the
culverts to reduce erosion.. Please see the attached authorization and conditions for NWP #14. As stated in the permit
conditions, the new culverts must be buried 12 inches below the substrate.
