I am in receipt of your letter dated December 13, 2006 concerning the Department of
Transportation's permit request for jurisdictional impacts to an unnamed tributary to Long Creek
from an I-485 access road located in Mecklenburg County.
After further discussion and review of the site, NCDOT has decided not to construct the access
road. Therefore, please consider the 401 permit request for the I-485 access road rescinded.
