Attached is an existing conditions plan that shows the existing toe of slope (in green) for US Highway 13. I've also
an updated grading plan that shows the proposed toe of slope (in red) for US 11ighway 13. The impact area betwec
is 450sf.
The amount of existing pavement that will be demolished within the buffer area between the two of slope and the buffer
limits is 1,890sf.

Mr, Lowder,
After a review of your buffer authorization application, the Division of Water Resources will require clarification of the
existing toe of the fill slope off US Highway 13 and the buffer impacts in and outside the impacted area. Please note,
that any buffer permanent impacts beyond the fill slope of US 13 and the footprint of existing access road are
considered a non - perpendicular crossing and considered "allowable with Mitigation" within the Table of Uses. in
addition, the removal of previously existing impervious material is considered an "Exempt" activities within the Table of
Uses. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
