Your assistance and cooperation as well as that of Mr. Brent Davis was greatly appreciated. Inspection findings are summarized below. The facility is located at 240 Ernest Road, in Reidsville, in Rockingham County. Wastewater produced at the facility is discharged to an unnamed tributary to Little Jacobs Creek(East Prong Jacobs Creek), which is currently classified as C waters in the Roanoke River Basin. The wastewater treatment system consists of an oil/water separator and polishing filter. Site Review The facility was clean and well secured. The treatment system was inspected and found to be operational. No discrepancies from the permit were noted. The outfall was also inspected and there was only a small amount of discharge at the time of inspection. The discharge point appeared free of pollutant indicators and was in very good condition. Access to the discharge point was well maintained. Documentation Review Mr. Thomas evaluated laboratory data during the inspection. Operation logs were reviewed and found to meet all requirements. Comparison of available lab reports and field monitoring data with discharge monitoring reports (DMR) showed no concerns or errors. Chain of custody records were available and complete.
