Mr. Snider,
This le is in res on o the Notice of Violation, Tracking # NOV-2019-DV-0271, concerning the spill
at 813-L a ue, uilford County, High Point, NC.
The spill at the above -mentioned address lasted for 45 minutes. During that time crews worked to
unstop the sewer lateral using a sewer cleaning truck. It was determined that the blockage was in a
sewer lateral line coming from the house at 2813 Lowe Street. It was caused by a buildup of grease
and debris. Once the spill was contained all solids were removed and lime was spread over the area.
The creek was flushed with clean water and monitored for adverse effects. This was the first time
having this issue, at this location. This line was last cleaned April 4, 2019. Inspections of the area will
be conducted when Preventive Cleaning is conducted to prevent future spills.
