To whom it may concern:
The intenetion of this letter is to make request to rescind NPDES permit
associated with the Highway 52 WTP (NC0044024) in the county of Stanly and city
of Albemarle.
The City of Albemarle has not used this permit within the last 5 years of issuance.
We here at the city feel that it would be negligent spending if we continued to
work towards and use our consultant to continue to issue a active NPDES permit

that is no longer needed as we discharge to Equalization Basin and in to the
collection system.
In closing the City of Albemarle would like to request to rescind the discgharge
NPDES permit associated with the High Way 52 Water Treatment Plant.
