Please be advised that Article V, Section 5.3.4, b, iii of the Jackson County Unified
Development Ordinance requires that a copy of the approved soil erosion control plan be on
file at the job site.
There were no comments by Jackson County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Our office requests a meeting onsite with the contractor before work begins, please can
Danny Lewis at 828-226-7678 to schedule a time and date.
The revision to this project now includes work on three parcels 7559-46-3580, 7559-46-4579, and
7559-46-5846 and the disturbance has increased to 1.82 ac; this revision has been approved as
submitted.
Due to the impact on the proper in question, metal backed silt fencing needs to be installed onsite 8'
maximum span standard strength fabric with wire fence) and the limits of disturbance must be staked
onsite.
Project is in an area designated a Class B Trout Stream (B; Tr); a 25-foot Buffer Zone set back is
required from the top of the bank of all perennial streams.
Approval does not cover areas which require 401 and 404 permits from the US Army Corps of
Engineers and NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and/or other such governing
agencies, until such time as said permits are in place.
This approval does not exempt this project from anyr other state or local permits or regulations that
rn yT be additionall3� required.
Please know that approval of this sedimentation and erosion control plan does not qualify this site for
vested rights with regard to the proposed subdivision ordinance and that this development may be
subject to the subdivision ordinance when adopted.
Note: Should the plan not perform adequately; a revised plan will be required.
