REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION: STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
Dear Mr. Elmore:
On March 19, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ). issued a 401 Water Quality Certification to
place permanent fill in 1001inear feet of perennial stream in order to construct a road crossing for access
into PTAA property at the intersection of Radar Road and the proposed extension of Ballinger Road in
Greensboro, NC. In order to meet Condition Number 2 of the 401 Water Quality Certification for this
project, stormwater management plans were submitted to the DWQ on August 23, 2007 and September 5,
2007.
The DWQ has determined that your stormwater management plan was incomplete as discussed below.
Additional Information Requested:
Please provide one copy of the stormwater management plan approval letter from the City of
Greensboro Water Supply Watershed program and one copy of the approved stormwater management
plan. Per a new policy change, the 401 Unit now defers to locally implemented state stormwater
programs' reviews and approvals..
The DWQ will require the. above. additional information to finalize review of the stormwater management
plan for the subject property. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review
