Please accept this as the Town of Troy Pretreatment Annual Report for the period January 1, 2022 through
December 31, 2022.
Saputo Cheese USA (Permit number 0003) operated under a consent order until May 2022. They are
currently in compliance with original permit limits. They are working on renewing their pretreatment permit
which expires in 2023.

true, accurate, and complete. I am aware that there are significant penalties for submitting false information,
including the possibility of fines and imprisonment for known violations.

2022 PAR/SNC Narrative
The town of Troy NC has 2 SIU's. They are Saputo Cheese USA and Republic Services.
Saputo Cheese USA entered into a Consent Order with the town in May of 2021 which
raised their limits for 12 months for BOD and TSS. The Consent Order expired in May
2022. They were able to reduce their levels of BOD and TSS to below original permitted
limits.
There was 1 notice of violation for the SIU in 2022.
