The inspection findings are summarized below and in the checklist on the following pages. This is a follow up inspection of the January 2022 inspection. Violations noted during the January 2022 inspection were: 1. No signs on the river as required by the permit and 2. No analytical monitoring. These violations have now been corrected by installing the required signage. Mr. Adams sent Mr. Boone photographic evidence of the new signs. According to Mr. Adams, no activity causing a discharge has been conducted at the site since the last inspection, so no analytical monitoring has been required. Please be aware that the Division may take enforcement action against any permittee who fails to comply with any requirement of their permit. Pursuant to NC General Statute (NCGS) 143-215.6A, a civil penalty of not more than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) may be assessed against any person who violates or fails to act in accordance with the terms, conditions, or requirements of any permit issued pursuant to G.S. 143-215.1.
