This le in r o the Notice of Violation, Tracking # NOV-2019-DV-0271, concerning the spill
at alle u uilford County, High Point, NC.
The spill at the above -mentioned address lasted for 3 hours and 07 minutes. During that time crews
worked to unstop the sewer main using a sewer cleaning truck. It was determined that the blockage
consisted of grease. Once the spill was contained all solids were removed and lime was spread over
the area. The creek was flushed with clean water and monitored for adverse effects. This line was
cleaned on March 12, 2019 and degreaser was used. This is on a Preventative Maintenance Cleaning
schedule of every other month. Cleaning / Inspections schedule will be increased to prevent future
spills.
