SUBJECT: Request for Waste Load
Allocation
Maury Sanitary Land Dist.
Dear Roger:
On behalf of the Maury Sanitary Land District, we are requesting
waste load allocation for the discharge of 165,000 GPD into Contentnea
Creek at each of the three locations as indicated in red on the enclosed
county maps. Previously in January 1984 you supplied a waste load
allocation for 60,000 GPD. This request is being upgraded to 165,000 in
order to accommodate flows from the prison unit located in Maury.
It is our intent to construct a three cell lagoon and discharge
under secondary limits applicable to lagoons. If 165,000 GPD discharge
requires treatment greater than secondary limits, please identify the
appropriate volume that could be discharged at each of these three
locations under secondary limits applicable to lagoons.
Please advise as we may assist. Your assistance in expediting this
request is appreciated.
