Tom and Hannah,
Attached is a photo of our dewatering hose’s outlet. This picture was sent to me on Friday 2/10/23.
The fabric is folded at the bottom so it catches the water coming out of the hose. As it seeps out of
the fabric, it slowly flows down the rest of the bank and into the channel. The inspector is
monitoring the bank for any washing. If washing becomes an issue, the fabric will be extended down
to the water. The water in the channel still appears turbid because Center Pointe’s silt bag is
upstream of our outlet.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Tom and Hannah,
Attached are some pictures of the dewatering set up at Drysdale Dr. extension. The intake for our
dewatering operation is clean. You can see a small sheen on the water, but it is not coming from our
project. It is coming from upstream and is most likely coming from the roads. In the picture titled
“Our outlet”, our project is to the right of the white sand bags and Center Pointe’s project is to the
left of the orange safety fence and dirt berm. In between our sand bags and the berm is where the
outlet of our dewatering should be. Center Pointe’s intake for their dewatering operation should
also be in this area. Instead, they connected a hose to the end of our dewatering hose and are
bypassing their project too (see “hose connection”). The clean water we are pumping from our
intake is being released at the end of their project. Center Pointe hooked up the end of our
dewatering hose to a silt bag. They are also dewatering the hole for their culvert and pumping that
water into the silt bag. The silt bag and rocks shown in the picture labeled “silt bag” are THEIRS, not
ours. Since the turbid water is coming out of the silt bag, it appears our water is contributing to the
turbidity even though our water is clean at the intake. The inspector and I spoke onsite today about
separating our hose from their silt bag and releasing the water further downstream of the silt bag.
That way we are not connected to Center Pointe’s devices and can show that our water is going
from clean to clean and that the turbidity is coming from their project. This will also maintain the
flow of the channel. Our inspector had our contractor separate our hose, move it further
downstream, and release it through an elbow onto fabric on the stream bank to prevent scour. They
accomplished this today after I left. I should have an updated picture tomorrow to send to you. I
hope that makes sense and that the pictures help. If you need further information or have any
questions please let me know.
Thank you,

Tom and Hannah,
We received this information from Joey about Drysdale Dr. extension today. It sounds like there is
some turbid release coming from Center Pointe’s project. He included a few pictures, but I am
having trouble picturing what is happening. I will visit the project tomorrow to check it out and get
more information. I will provide another update tomorrow but wanted to go ahead and give you a
heads up today. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Anneliese –
The contractor for the Centre Point project has connected a hose to the outlet end of our pump
around and the entire “creek” has been bypassed. The water coming out of Center Pointe’s outlet is
turbid. See attached pics for reference. I wanted to let you know so we can properly address and
document so to avoid any violations. Let me know if there are any other questions or concerns.
