On 1/4/23, an EPCN was submitted electronically on NCDENR website. I had not requested the pre -filing
meeting required and the application was rejected due to this. I requested the pre -filing meeting on the same
day (see email confirmation). However, the USACE did receive the application(see attached email) a SAW
number was assigned, and the application was forwarded to Krysta Stygar at the Charlotte Regulatory office for
further processing. I have spoken to Roberto Scheller at the Mooresville Regional office about this project so
that he is aware that an NWP through the USACE is being applied for due to the size and scope of the project.
