Two copies of each of the following shall accompany this submittal in order for the application
to be considered complete:

industrial activities (including storage of materials, disposal areas, process areas and
loading and unloading areas), drainage structures, drainage areas for each outfall,
building locations and impervious. surfaces should be clearly noted.
2. A summary of Analytical Monitoring results during the term of the existing permit
(if your permitrequiredanalytical sampling). Do not submit individual lab reports.
The summary can consist,of a table including such items as outfall number,
parameters sampled, lab results, date sampled, and storm event data.
A summary of the 'visual Monitoring results. Do not submit individual monitoring
reports. The summary can consist of a table including such items as outfall number,
parameters surveyed, observations, and date monitoring conducted.
A A summary of the Best Management Practices utilized at the permitted facility.
Summary should consist of a short narrative description of each BMP's in place at
the facility. If the implementation of any. BMP's is planned, Please include:
information. on these BMP's.
A short narrative describing any significant changes in industrial activities at the
permitted facility. Significant changes could include the addition or deletion of
work processes, changes in material handling practices, changes in material storage
practices, and/or changes in.the raw materials used by�the facility.

If the final year analytical monitoring of the existing permit term has not been completed
prior to filing the renewal submittal, then the last years monitoring results should be submitted

Best Management Practices
A narrative description of Best Management Practices (BMP), here at Southeastern Foundries
Corporation is as follows:
* Keeping the: east pad located between the Cleaning Room and Foundry clear of
metal shavings and foundry sand.
• Accumulated sand and metal shavings are to be kept clear of the parking pad
outside the Cleaning Room. and Machine Shop. loading dock.
• While cleaning the outside air filters any spilled debris is to be cleaned up right
away.
• The ground and patio area outside the sand silo shall be kept clear of oxcess
foundry sand.
• All storm sewers are to be kept free from blockage.
• Area around the outside dumpster is to be cleaned as needed.
• Store 55-gallon drums with material inside at all tines, empty drums are to be
store inside or under a cover area.
• All pallets and crates are to be kept °*under a covered patio.

Significant 'industrial alterations within. the 'Southeastern Foundries Corporatitln.
• Removal of obsolete bucket elevator responsible. for foundry green sand distribution
within. the facility. This system was
replaced by a conveyor belt system providing a more- efficient, safer and retiable sand
delivery system.
• All low voltage (110 VAC) receptacles were reviewed and upgraded as necessary.
Compliance with all City Fire Marshall Codes was achieved.
+► Reallocation of machining center (Foundry to Warehouse) to improve work flow and
improved ergonomics.
• Reduced compressed air -supply load on foundry by balancing +wereli air
'requirements. This was accomplished by connecting the warehouse
air compressor with the machine shop. This affords all facilities to have air -supply
redundancy.
