Subject: Close out of Sewage treament plant at DRSS
Lon,
When you were here at Dan River last September, we briefly discussed close out of the sewage package plant at the
retired steam station. What do we need to do to properly close this system out? The package plant has been pumped
out, "cleaned", and all influent lines have been cut. Do we need to pull this system out of the ground or would it be
acceptable to remove all above ground structures and fill it with concrete? If you could provide us some guidance, I
would greatly appreciate it.
