Trish,
I have been reviewing your application for the replacement of bridge No. 92 on SR 1315 in Alexander County. I have a
few question/clarifications:
• You list the project as being in the Yadkin River basin. My sources indicate that the project is actually in the
Catawba River basin. Could you please verify which basin the project is in?
• I see there will be some stormwater drainage scuppers on the bridge. I can't tell for certain that they won't be
located over the stream—it looks like they will be discharging over the riprap and the cattle crossing, could you
please verify that no stormwater will be directly discharged into the stream?
• Also, could you please send larger scale or blow-ups of the impacts sites?They are difficult to see at the scale I
received.
• The Stream Impacts Table in the PCN (page 5) indicates that there will be 60' of temporary impacts on the UT to
Lambert Fork for dewatering but the impact is not shown on the plans or included in the impact summary sheet.
