Subject: Minor Permit Modification to Correct Error
NPDES Permit NC0021971
Charlotte BP Terminal / Paw Creek, Grade I
Mecklenburg County
Dear Mr. Lewis:
The Division of Water Quality (the Division) was recently made aware of an error in the subject permit
issued November 30, 2010 [phone conversation between BP's Radford Murphy and Joe Corporon, April 8,
2011]. We wish therefore to correct the permit's Supplement to Cover Sheet.
Under No. 1, the phrase "...Pollution Prevention Plan..." should read "...Pollution Prevention System..."
alluding not to a plan, but to your currently -in -place physical waste/stormwater treatment facilities. We
have corrected this error in the_attached pages. Please insert this page into your existing permit and discard
the old page. No further action is required.
Please remember this permit is not transferable except after notifying the Division of Water Quality. The
Division may require permit modification, or revocation and re -issuance. Note that this permit does not
affect your legal obligation to obtain other permits required by the Division of Water Quality, the Division
of Land Resources, the Coastal Area Management Act, or other federal or local governments.
If you have questions concerning this modification, or if we can further assist you, please contact Joe
Corporon at [joe.corporon@ncdenr.gov] or call (919) 807-6394.
tfully,
Coleen H. Sullins
