REPLACE BRIDGE NO. 55 OVER TOISNOT SWAMP ON US 264A WITH A THREE SPAN ~140 Ft. PRESTRESSED CONCRETE GIRDER BRIDGE. THE PROPOSED
General Project Narrative:
BRIDGE WILL CONSIST OF 1 @ 40', 1 @ 70', 1 @ 30' ON STEEL PILE INTERIOR BENTS WITH SPILL THROUGH ABUTMENTS. MINIMIZATION EFFORTS: IN THE
NORTHWEST QUADRANT, THE PROPOSED ROADWAY SHOULDER POINT HAS BEEN PULLED IN TO AVOID THE PROPOSED ROADWAY FILL SLOPE FROM
IMPACTING AN EXISTING JS THAT PARALLELS US 264A. IN ADDITION, APPROACH DRAINAGE SHOULDER BERM GUTTER SYSTEMS OUTLET OUTSIDE OF
BUFFER ZONE 2 ONTO STANDARD RIP RAP PADS PRIOR TO ENTERING THE BUFFER ZONES.
