Project Description
–
NCDOT proposes to replace Bridge #55, which is currently a (3) span 128’ x 31’ bridge, with a 140’ x 35’
(3) span bridge over Toisnot Swamp in Wilson County. Stormwater will be directed to dissipater pad
outside of Buffer Zone 2 in the southwest and northeast quadrants. There are 3205 square feet of
perpendicular impacts to Buffer Zone 1, and 1577 square feet of impacts in Zone 2 that will be associated
with this project.
