Mr. Price, A walkthrough of subject project was conducted today, 23 December 2022, in the moringi. Locally installed rain gauge read approximately 2.3 inches within las 24 hours. 1. STA 20+30 Rt-Y1- permanent lateral 2' base ditch had silt/turbidity discharge to Bones Creek. The silty material appears to come from the actual base of the ditch. Erosion observed upstream on the ditch parallel to Y1 stops over 100' from discharge point to Bone creek. Slopes off area where borrow pit was located looked stable and did not cause erosion problems onto ditch. Approximately 1-2 buckets (5-10 gallons) of silt could be remove once water levels recede within the next few days. Permit Site 10; 1st photo attachment 2. Areas under the bridge remain under water as it usually happens with this amount of precipitation. Ruts caused by erosion visible in the areas between bents 8-10. It is somewhat difficult to appreciate at this moment if any silt material has left the site through those areas until water recedes, but it is quite visible that a large amount of runoff took place under the bridges. Best estimate of loss is 20 gallons. Permit Site 2; 2nd photo attachment The attached photos should help answer questions, feel free to call.
