The proposed bridge will be placed on its �xisting alignment. The new bridge structure will be a 3-span,
1@35', 1@55', 1@35' — 21" deep cored slab bridge (OAl = 125' long by 36' wide). There are no wetlands
present within the proposed limits of construction. The placement of riprap bank stabilization under the
proposed bridge, as weli as riprap slope protection for (1) existing and (1) proposed ditch, results in 63
linear feet of permanent stream impacts. An off-site detour will be utilized during"construction. This bridge
is following the Low Impact Bridge Pro�jess established by FHWA, NCDOT, and Regulatory Agencies.
