Dear Mr. Reed,
We submit this cover letter and Annual Report for the year 2022. As you may know, Town of Canton
experienced a 100-year flood event in August of 2021. This event displaced several departments of the
Town to temporary quarters until the funds are secured to repair the original locations.
We have fallen behind on completing our annual tasks this past year. We have hired staff (on board) to
get the MS4 permit renewal and tasks up to date. We hope to be back on track in the coming calendar
year.
