Craven Street, New Bern, NC; Craven County Dear Anthony: Enclosed please find a copy of the demolition and erosion and sedimentation control plan drawings for the above -referenced project. As discussed during the site visit between you, Samir Dumpor and Joe Avolis on December 8, 2014, the owner of the property is proceeding with the cleanup of the site in advancejof future development. As was discussed during the site visit, we will not be doing any work within the riparian buffer with the exception of removing visible hunks of concrete and other debris. It is our understanding that this cleanup is an exempt ai ctivity. From the drawings and as observed during the site visit, there is a large amount of old gravel and concrete BUA on the site. We will be removing all of this material with the exception of the existing BUA that is located within the 50' riparian buffer area and the 75' CAMA AEC. We will be leaving this material in place for now. There will not be any development associated with the site at this time with the exception of filling small depressions, grading the site smooth and converting the area to a grassed field. The existing concrete on the site will be crushed and stockpiled along with all of the existing gravel. We will not be creating any areas of concentrated stormwater flow into the riparian buffer. We will keep you advised of any future development plans and will seek the appropriate approvals at that time as applicable. We appreciate all of your assistance with this project. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give me a call.
