Dear Mr. Mercer:
The final plans and specifications for the subject project have been
reviewed and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted
for the construction of additions and modifications to the existing .065
d contact stabilization plant to consist of an auzialiary 80 cfm blower
with spare, a 200 sf sludge drying bed, a 5,750 gallon aerated sludge hold-
ing tank with 100 gpm sludge pump, and a 0.065 mgd grit removal chamber and
modifications to consist of in -plant piping changes, air -line revisions,
valve changes, and increasing the height of the contact stabilization plant
wall.
This is a Class II Wastewater Treatment Plant which requires that the
operator in responsible charge hold a valid Grade II Certificate.
This Authorisation to Construct shall be subject to revocation unless
the wastewater treatment facilities including additions and modifications
are constructed in accordance with the conditions and limitations specified
in Permit No. NC0032239.
Also, enclosed is a copy of WPC Form #50 "Cost of Wastewater Treatment
Works." This form is to be completed and returned to this office within
thirty (30) days after the project is completed.
