SUBJECT: West Lincoln Senior High School Effluent TSS Data
NPDES Permit No. NC0041246
Lincoln County
The Technical Support Unit has recently completed the
wasteload allocation for the subject facility. Upon review
of the daily monitoring reports for the past two years, it
is apparent that West Lincoln Senior High School has had
problems meeting their limit for total suspended solids. The
facility exceeded their monthly TSS limit (30 mg/1) six times
in 1988 (with a maximum value of 132.5 mg/1) and three times
in 1987. In addition, this facility violated their monthly
BOD5 limit (30 mg/1) three times in 1988.
Please continue to monitor West Lincoln High School's
effluent TSS discharge and relay any knowledge of operational
problems and/or instream impacts to the Central Office.
