Vacant residential lot with homes on both sides on Duck Creek's shore line. Lot is all
grass except along bulkhead....600 Path Rush Sedge have been planted along
bulkhead.

4. Proposed Activity
Provide a detailed description of the proposed activity including its purpose and include the type of equipment to be used: *
Construction of a single story residential house elevated 9'-0" above finished grade.
Standard residential construction equipment will be used.
A portion (12' x 5') of the front porch will encroach 5' into the 50' set -back. Four 8"x8"
post will be driven 8' into the ground inside the buffer area. Grass will be maintained
under the entire porch. Entire area under the porch will be open on all 4 sides. Porch
decking will be open slat. Bottom of porch area will be elevated 9'. All area within the
50' setback will be returned to a vegetative state.

Comments:
The only impact will be the placing of 4 - 8" x 8" support piers for the porch. Any
disturbance within the 50' buffer will be returned to it's previous vegetative state.
D. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1. Avoidance and Minimization
la. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project.
Establishing vegetative buffer at the waterline/bulkhead consisting of 600 Path Rush
Sedge in a manner to mitigate surface water runoff. Silt fence will be installed to
prevent debris & soil runoff.
1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques.
A silt fence will be placed at the lowest point along the bulkhead to catch an
debris/material or soil runoff.
