Tasha:
As per our discussions this week, the mitigation section of this permit application was
inadvertently omitted. Enclosed for your review is a revised PCN, photographs of the wetland
impact areas, descriptions of the wetlands proposed for impacts, and a proposed mitigation
summary As soon as RIBITS is available I will determine whether the proposed mitigation
credits will be purchased for a private bank or whether an application to EEP will be necessary.
Please correspond if we need to provide any additional assistance or information necessary to
assist you with your review and issuance of the requested permit approval. Please feel free to
call with any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
 " Z# " d /& 4--t WV

Wetland Descriptions (proposed for impacts) and Mitigation Summary
Impact #2 (0 047 acre) This linear wetland feature has been ditched in the past There is a large spoil
pile that parallels this wetland There is not herbaceous plant life within this wetland due to the shading
from pines and other trees This wetland is considered poor quality due to the past disturbance and lack
of good quality habitat However, the applicant is proposing to mitigate for the loss of this wetland at a
2:1 ratio (0.094 acre)
Impact #3 (0.006 acre) This linear wetland feature has also been ditched in the past. This wetland is
surrounded by maintained fairways and rough areas This is an herbaceous wetland and considered
poor quality due to the past disturbance and continual maintenance surrounding the area. However,
the applicant is proposing to mitigate for the loss of this wetland at a 2 1 ratio (0 012 acre).
Impact #4 (0 33 acre) This wetland occurs along a golf fairway and adjacent to Reeds Creek. This
wetland is considered good quality. This wetland consists of herbaceous plants, shrubs, and trees The
applicant is proposing to mitigate for the loss of this wetland at a 2.1 ratio (0 66 acre).
Impact #7• (0.11 acre)- This wetland occurs at the green of a golf hole in a cove of an existing pond The
vegetation within this wetland is regularly cut to maintain a view of the green. The stream flowing
through this wetland will not be impacted This wetland consists of herbaceous vegetation and is
considered poor quality due to the regular maintenance. However, the applicant is proposing to
mitigation for the loss of this wetland at a 2:1 ratio (0.22 acre)
Mitigation Summary Proposed wetland impacts total 0 493 acre The applicant is proposing to mitigate
for all of the wetland impacts at a 2.1 ratio (0 986 acre, payment being made for 1 acre) even though
three of the four wetland areas are considered poor quality Proposed mitigation for these impacts will
be payment into a mitigation bank or payment into EEP for 1 acre
