On September 14, 2022, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application requesting a 401 Water
Quality Certification from the Division for the subject project. The Division has determined that your application is
incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on -hold until all of the following information is received:
1. It's not clear based on the current condition of the project (presence of guardrails, minimal traffic sight
distances, minimal turn radius, etc.) how it will be utilized as RV parking. The map provided with the PCN only
depicts the limits of fill. Please provide a map or figure that shows the location, dimensions, and type of any
structures to be erected on the lands in connection with the activity and that clearly depicts how the site will be
utilized as RV parking. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(a)(9)]
2. Please clarify if silt fence was installed within any portion of the wetland. If so, please remove the silt fence from
the wetland and provide documentation of removal. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(a)]
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(e), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the
proper consideration of the application. Please provide your response by October 28, 2022. If all of the requested
information is not received, the Division will be unable to approve the application and it will be denied as incomplete.
The denial of this project will necessitate reapplication to the Division for approval, including a complete application
package and appropriate fee.
