5. Describe the existing land use or condition of the site at the time of this application: *
Residential, The Boardwalk starts at the pool area and extends the length
of Harborside Dr on the water. Previous installed Rip Rap has fallen due
to erosion and rain. Many areas didn't previously have Rip Rap and will be
installed to prevent further erosion. This Maintenance will extend the life
of the shoreline along the boardwalk belonging to Harborside
Townhomes.

Installing Rip Rap to maintain the integrity of the shoreline. Hardening of
the shoreline is avoided thru use of Rip Rap, soil and vegetation which
allows water to flow.

Currently various vegetation, junipers, roses and tall grasses the length of
the boardwalk. Any vegetation removed will be replaced.

application fee is as follows (pursuant to G.S. 143-215.3D):
o $240.00 for impacts to lake (below normal water level) of less than 1 acre
o $570.00 for impacts to lake (below normal water level) of greater or equal to 1 acre
