You have authorization, in accordance with 15A NCAC 02B .0233 (6) Vegetation Management, to remove
10 flagged trees within Zone 1 and Zone 2 of the Neuse River Riparian Buffer at the subject property. The
Neuse River Buffer Rules allows for the removal of individual trees which are in danger of causing damage
to dwellings, other structures or human life. The subject vegetation was reviewed on November 24, 2014
and found to be dead or damaged and flagged for removal. As part of this authorization it is required that
SO trees be replanted within 50 feet of the water's edge to replace trees removed. Two of the ten trees
should be a native species. If you change your project you must notify us and you may be required to
send us an application.
This letter does not authorize any impacts to either Waters of the United States or Waters of the State.
Please contact the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) if any
impacts are proposed to either of these waters. If you have any questions regarding or would like to set
