Regarding NCDOT Division 9 TIP U-5824 in Walkertown NC:

This project was previously issued an AJD and NCDWR buffer mitigation applicability determination in 2016. The AJD
expired in October 2021.

VHB conducted an updated delineation of the project area in 2022 and submitted an updated JD request (PJD this time
around) and NCDWR determination request. Minor changes are reflected in the updated delineation, including the
addition of a small wetland (WB) and the change from intermittent to perennial of the reach of Stream B downstream of
NC-66.

At your earliest convenience, please let me know if you would like to conduct an updated site visit to verify the
resources in the PJD request and NCDWR stream ID request, or discuss the updated delineation and findings via phone
or e-mail.
