ONCE THESE DEVICES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE ENGINEER AND NC DEMLR TO HAVE AN ONSITE MEETING TO DETERMINE THAT PHASE I SEDIMENTAND EROSION CONTROL DEVICES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED ACCORDING TO THE APPROVED PLANS. CONTRACTOR SHALL RECEIVE APPROVAL FROM ENGINEER AND INC DEMLR BEFORE BEGINNING PHASE 2 SEDIMENTAND EROSION CONTROL. 2. DEVICES INSTALLED IN PHASE 1 SEDIMENTAND EROSION CONTROL SHALL CONTINUE TO BE MAINTAINED DURING PHASE 2. 3. CONTRACTOR WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RE -INSTALLING POND BAFFLES ACCORDINGLY DURING THE GRADING PROCESS. POND BAFFLES SHALL REMAIN INSTALLED AT ALL TIMES OF THE GRADING OPERATION. BAFFLES MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED OR RE -INSTALLED PERIODICALLY. 4. RESUME DEMOLITION. ALL DEMOLITION SHALL BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE, LOCAL AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS. MATERIAL SHALL BE HAULED TO AN APPROVED LANDFILL. CONTRACTOR SHALL SAVE RECEIPTS. 5. CONTINUE GRADING OPERATIONS, MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL DEVICES AND REPLACE AS NEEDED. PREPARE THE BUILDING PAD AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. INSTALL STORM DRAIN STRUCTURES AND PIPING AS SOON AS GRADING ALLOWS. PROVIDE INLET PROTECTION AS SHOWN. INSPECT AND REPAIR BMPS AFTER EACH RAINFALL. PROVIDE TEMPORARY DIVERSION DITCHES DURING CONSTRUCTION TO ROUTE RUNOFF INTO PROPOSED DETENTION BASIN. 6. SITE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR BUILDING PAD COMPLETION AND CONSTRUCTION. 7. AS STORM DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES, TEMPORARY INLET PROTECTION SHALL BE INSTALLED AND MAINTAINED. 8. AS GRADING PROGRESSES, ADDITIONAL/RELOCATION OF PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED SILT FENCE WILL BE NECESSARYAND EXPECTED. 9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL DILIGENTLY AND CONTINUOUSLY MAINTAIN ALL EROSION CONTROL DEVICES AND STRUCTURES TO MINIMIZE EROSION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEAN-UP AND REMOVAL OF ANY SEDIMENT DISCHARGED ONTO ADJACENT PROPERTIES, AND ANY ASSOCIATED DAMAGES. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN CLOSE CONTACT WITH THE EROSION CONTROL INSPECTOR SO THAT PERIODIC INSPECTIONS CAN BE PERFORMED PER INC DEMLR REQUIREMENTS. 10. BEGIN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION, UTILITY INSTALLATION, ETC AS SHOWN ON THE PLANS AS GRADING ALLOWS. 11. INSTALL CURB/GUTTER AND AGGREGATE BASE COURSE ON ALL AREAS TO BE PAVED TO STABILIZE. STABILIZE ALL OTHER DENUDED AREAS AS FINISHED GRADE IS ATTAINED. 12. TEMPORARY GRASSING SHALL BE APPLIED TO AREAS THAT WILL BE DORMANT FOR PERIODS LONGER THAN 14 DAYS. EROSION CONTROL BLANKETS SHALL BE APPLIED TO ALL SLOPES AS NOTED IN THE GENERAL NOTES AS SOON AS FINAL GRADES ARE ACHIEVED IN THOSE AREAS. PERMANENT GRASSING SHALL BE APPLIED TO ALL AREAS AT FINAL GRADE AND IN SEASON AS INDICATED ON GRASSING NOTES. ALL DENUDED AREAS SHALL BE STABILIZED PER NC DEMLR AND TOWN OF MILLS RIVER REQUIREMENTS. 13. FINALIZE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND APPLY THE ASPHALT SURFACE COURSE, CONCRETE PAVEMENT AND PAVEMENT STRIPING (UPON REASONABLE ALLOWANCE FOR SURFACE COURSE CURING). INSTALL LANDSCAPING. 7. FINALIZE STORM WATER MANAGEMENT POND 8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THE SITE ENGINEER WITH AN AS -BUILT SURVEY (PREPARED BY A LICENSED NORTH CAROLINA SURVEYOR PER NC DEMLR REQUIREMENTS) OF ALL SITE IMPROVEMENTS WITH DETAILS PROVIDED REGARDING THE UTILITIES AND STORM DRAINAGE INVERTS, SIZES, AND MATERIALS. PLEASE CONTACT THE SITE ENGINEER AT 864-582-0585 TO CONFIRM THE AS -BUILT REQUIREMENTS. 9. UPON REVIEW OF THE AS -BUILT SURVEY INFORMATION, THE SITE ENGINEER SHALL PERFORM AN INSPECTION OF THE ESTABLISHED PERMANENT VEGETATION. UPON APPROVAL, THE SITE ENGINEER WILL NOTIFY THE NC DEMLR STORM WATER MANAGER. THE SITE ENGINEER WILL NOTIFY THE CONTRACTOR WHEN IT IS ACCEPTABLE TO REMOVE THE PERIMETER CONTROLS, OR IF NC DEMLR OR TOWN OF MILLS RIVER REQUIRES THE CORRECTION OF ANY DEFICIENCIES. 10. A BUILDING CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY WILL NOT BE GRANTED UNTIL THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS/ITEMS ARE PROVIDED: TEMPORARY/PERMANENT STABILIZATION PER NC DEMLR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENTIRE SITE, POND AS-BUILTS FROM A LICENSED SURVEYOR AND ENGINEER'S CERTIFICATION (IF APPLICABLE) AND COMPLETION OF ALL SITE WORK. 11. CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION OF THE TIME NECESSARY INTO THEIR SCHEDULE THE TIME AND WEATHER CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A STABILIZED SITE (MEETING REQUIREMENTS) INTO THEIR CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE TO OBTAIN THE CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY. CONTRACTOR SHALL ACCOUNT FOR TIME FOR ADEQUATE GERMINATION AND FINAL STABILIZATION AS A PART OF THE CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE. 12.
