Mitigation Plan
Mr. Alsmeyer:
Mitigation for the Ridgehaven Subdivision will be in the form of payment in to NCEEP and
onsite preservation.
Payment into the NCEEP will be for 428 linear feet of stream impacts at a 1:1 ratio, 13199
square feet of Zone 1 Buffer impacts requiring 39597 square feet of mitigation, and 8843
square feet of Zone 2 Buffer impacts requiring 13265 square feet of mitigation.
Onsite preservation will include the preservation of the remainder of the streams on
property (approximately 6000 feet) with a 30 foot from top of bank buffer. The following
is a copy of the restrictive covenants:
"Permittee shall execute and cause to be recorded in the Franklin County Register
of Deeds restrictive covenants acceptable to the Corps of Engineers for the
purpose of maintaining the conservation areas, as shown on the recorded plat*(Lots
11, 15, 24, 25, 29-40, 50-63, 92, 99, 100, 113-116, 128-131, and 137), in their natural
state in perpetuity, prior to the sale or conveyance of any lots or other property

within the subdivision. The permittee shall enforce the terms of the restrictive
covenants and, prior to conveyance of the property, shall take no action on the
property described in the covenants inconsistent with the terms thereof. The
permittee shall provide a copy of the recorded restrictive covenants to the Corps
of Engineers within 15 days of recording."
