BG Stewart Solar Farm, LLC
Union County
Dear Mr. Carreon and Mr. Nourafshan:
The Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR), received a Stormwater
Management Permit Application for the subject project on December 16, 2021. A review of that
information has determined that the application is not complete. The following information is
needed to continue the stormwater review:
Please provide an original, notarized, signature for the Property Owner, Bonnie G.
Stewart, in Section IX of the Application. For this project, if it is not practicable to get the
Property Owner to sign the Application, we will accept a copy of a lease agreement,
affidavit, or other official document showing that the Applicant, Cypress Creek
Renewables, LLC, has obtained legal rights to submit a stormwater permit application
within the proposed project area (in conjunction with an explanation that it was not
practicable to get the Property Owner signature on the Application).
NOTE: In the event that the development agreement between the Applicant and the
Property Owner is dissolved, canceled, defaulted, etc... the responsibility for compliance
with the permit reverts back to the Property Owner.
2. Please provide electronic files for each of the hard copy items that were originally
submitted for review (15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)). Electronic copies should be submitted
