Describe the attachments or comments: • Several mussels are known to be within the project location. Therefore, a survey/relocation effort should be done prior to site disturbance. NCWRC biologists have agreed to relocate the mussels. • The adherence of the February 15 — June 30 moratorium would minimize impacts to aquatic resources during project construction. Elevated turbidity levels, sedimentation from bank disturbance, and increased noise can be impactful during periods of peak biological productivity for several fish and mussel species.
