The activity for this Certification is sought to issue a 401 Certification for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission license for the Yadkin Pee Dee Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 2206~j 1Yti Montgomery, Stanly, Anson and Richmond Counties for dams at Blewett Falls and Tillery. The application for the project includes plans to address dissolved oxygen issues in the Yadkin River downstream of the dams, modify the minimum low flow in the river, provide permanent protection of stream corridors in order to partially offset minimum flows as well as conduct biological and flow monitoring in the river.
