Bralley Town of Mocksville 171 Clement St Mocksville, N.C. 27028 SUBJECT: Notice of Facility Status Change NPDES Permit NC0021491 Dutchman's Creek WWTP Davie County Dear Permittee: A recent internal review of the Division's facility classifications determined that the subject municipal wastewater treatment plant is improperly classified as a Minor facility. The Dutchman's Creek WWTP should be classified as a Major facility, per the definition for Major/Minor facilities found in the General Statute: § 143-215.3D. Fee schedule for water quality permits. (a) Annual fees for discharge and nondischarge permits under G.S. 143-215.1. — (1) Major Individual NPDES Permits. — The annual fee for an individual permit for a point source discharge of 1,000,000 or more gallons per day, a publicly owned treatment works (POTW) that administers a POTW pretreatment program, as defined in 40 Code of Federal Regulations § 403.3 (1 July 1996 Edition), or an industrial waste treatment works that has a high toxic pollutant potential is three thousand four hundred forty dollars ($3,440). Beginning in 2011, you will be billed the permit fee for a Major NPDES permit for the subject facility. If at any time your pretreatment program becomes inactive, your facility status will revert to Minor.
