The return receipt for the certified mail to the Davie County Commissioners has not been received back yet. I have included the receipt showing the day it was sent and the green receipt stamped at the post office. I have also included the tracking information showing that it was signed for on August 31st. One day after mailing it. It is now two weeks later, and we still do not have the green card. I know that the certified mail receipt is something in the regulations and can't just be changed, but in the future if they are going to make any changes, electronic signature delivery is much easier, faster, and cheaper than certified return receipts. We have had green cards take over a month to make their way back to our office which delays getting permits turned around. I just wanted to bring that up. After speaking with our soil scientist, we have decided to just delete field 12 that was in the flood plain as it was going to be too much of a hassle to map, and more importantly land apply to.
