Project Description: The proposed project (U-5710A) is a new alignment connector between US 74 (Eastwood Road) and SR 1409 (Military Cutoff Road) in New Hanover
County, NC.
Impact Minimization Efforts: The team has designed a 2' Base Tail Ditch (Detail A) to receive roadway runoff from the project to minimize direct runoff into the adjacent
jurisdictional stream. The tail ditch is approximately 42' long with 3:1 side slopes with a ditch slope of 0.6%.
