We would like to build a small dock. The town of Lake Lure is requiring
shoreline stablization where the boat dock is locate, because of the
location on the lake. We will install filter fabric and granite rip rap on the
sandy portion of the shoreline.

POSTS TO BE PLUMB AND TRUE, +/- 1/4" PER FT.
FLOOD ZONE NOTE:
THE PROPOSED PIER CONSTRUCTION DETAILED ON THESE DRAWINGS IS A FUNCTIONALLY
DEPENDENT STRUCTURE THAT, WHEN CONSTRUCTED, WILL NOT INCREASE THE LAKE
LURE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION DUE TO THE TOWN OF LAKE LURE'S ABILITY TO CONTROL
