The IAU does not have any further comments in addition to those previously outlined in a memo to Alan Clark from Andrew McDaniel dated June 19, 1996 (see Appendix 5 of 201 Plan). Briefly, the IAU has identified, with the assistance of ESB and regional staff, water quality problems in Utley Creek which may be associated with nutrient over enrichment. In response to these problems the IAU has informed the Town and its consultants that nutrient limits may be recommended in the future as a condition in its NPDES permit. The 201 Plan acknowledged this possibility on page 39 by stating that the new plant will be designed to be compatible with the addition of nutrient removal facilities, if such facilities are deemed necessary in the future. Yep, I recommended a chronic toxicity test requirement in the permit. P/F Cerio at 90%. I'll fill out another from, have Carla look at it, and route it to you. Sorry for this mess. From: Marcia Toler-McCullen on Tue, Feb 4, 1997 7:13 AM Subject: RE: Holly Springs To: Andy McDaniel Cc: Carla Sanderson Andy, I just noticed that the WLA form for Holly Springs has Chronic Toxicity circled; however, there is no Chronic Toxicity Form attached to this questionable fact sheet. Does Holly Springs have Chronic Toxicity? If so, I need the form to attach to the fact sheet before making final distribution. I assume that if there was a chronic form it must be attached to the faxed fact sheet wherever that is. Maybe we will get this thing out of our hair today !!! Thanks. From: Andy McDaniel on Mon, Feb 3, 1997 3:55 PM Subject: Holly Springs To: Carla Sanderson Cc: Marcia Toler-McCullen; Steve Pellei Carla, Our executive decision was to have Marcia finalize the WLA without the regions signature. Montez in Central Files can't find the FAXed fact sheet and we could spend hours trying to chase it down. If you have any other suggestions let me know. thanks Page 1 Note for Marcia Toler-McCullen From: Andy McDaniel Date: Mon, Feb 3, 1997 3:14 PM Subject: RE: HOLLY SPRINGS To: Steve Pellei cc: Carla Sanderson; Marcia Toler-McCullen Hey Steve, I've just been up in Central Files with Montez and we could not find the fact sheet. Is there any information that you could provide that would aid in her search? You say you sent the Fact Sheet up there around the first of last week? Sony for all the confusion. Thanks again. From: Steve Pellei on Mon, Feb 3, 1997 11:16 AM Subject: RE: HOLLY SPRINGS To: Andy McDaniel Oops, I sent all of that info up to central files around 1/27 or so. Should I try to track it down? From: Andy McDaniel on Mon, Feb 3, 1997 11:07 AM Subject: HOLLY SPRINGS To: Steve Pellei Cc: Carla Sanderson; Marcia Toler-McCullen Hey Steve, The copy of the 1.5 MGD fact sheet that we have does not have the regions signature on it. A note Dave wrote on this fact sheet leads me to believe that you guys, in your files, may have a FAXed fact sheet for 1.5 MGD that has the region's signature. This copy may have been used to draft the permit. (Recall the big rush to get it out to notice.) Will you check to see if this is the case? We need to make sure we have the proper paper trail for our tracking system.
