North Carolina General Statutes and the Coastal Stormwater rules require that this property be covered under a
stormwater permit Failure to maintain a permit subjects the owner to assessment of civil penalties More

30 days The permit renewal form can be found under the Post -Construction section of this website or at

construction-2 Also, it was noted in the file review that a designer's certification that the project was
constructed in accordance with the approved plans as required by the permit has not been submitted Please

On January 26, 2015 the North Carolina Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources modified a State
Stormwater permit for Barefoot Square We understand that you recently purchased a lot in the subdivision which
will dram to the pond which is permitted under SW8 060909 The North Carolina Administrative Code requires any
project that is part of a larger common plan of development apply for and receive a Stormwater Management Permit
from the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources Please apply for a State Stonmwater Permit The forms
and directions are available on our website, http //portal nodenr org/webllr/state-stormwater-forms dots
Please understand that the NPDES 010000 Federal Stormwater Permit that is issued with the Erosion Control Plan
approval letter for a project site is NOT the same as a Coastal Stormwater Management Permit Any construction on
the subject site, prior to receipt of the required Coastal Stormwater permit, will constitute a violation of 15A NCAC
2H 1000 and may result in appropriate enforcement action by this Office
Therefore, please submit a Stormwater Permit Application Package including 2 sets of plans, completed application
form, fee, the offstte supplement form, and supporting documentation, or a written response regarding the status of
this project and the expected submittal date must be received in this Office no later than March 3.2015 Failure to
respond to this request may result in the initiation of enforcement action, and construction may experience a
subsequent delay
